“What’s Wrong With Stephen Moffat?”Rebloggable by request

There are a handful of valid points in this list, but a large chunk of them are so wonderfully, embarrassingly wrong (or are, in actual fact, based on opinion or poor observation of what’s actually happening in an episode of the show). The so-called “Apple Problem” is arguably the stupidest complaint I’ve ever seen anyone make of any aspect of Moffat’s writing anywhere ever.
A child could pick this list apart.

“Russell T Davies is 500x better”
Have they never seen an episode ACTUALLY written by Davies? They’re terrible. Meanwhile that episode, Blink, that everyone loves and is pretty much universally considered one of the best? That was Moffat.

It’s like…the top part of this was making some sense. Then it just got whiny and pathetic.
The bit about Amy really gets on my nerves, because apparently this person wasn’t watching the same damn show. But whatever.

The funniest part, I think, is when they say Moffat doesn’t “respect Doctor Who” because he took out the possibility of there being any love interests. You know how many times there was an actual romantic subplot in classic Who? Fucking once, with 4 and Romana 2, and then it was less a sub plot, and more tiny hints because ROMANCE ISN’T IMPORTANT IN DOCTOR WHO.

Outside of Rose and River, he hasn’t really been very interested in other women often anyway. They cite his flirting with Clara, but honestly, he doesn’t treat Clara much different from how he treated Amy, and he had NO interest in Amy either.
Also, wasn’t the Doctor’s wife the TARDIS too? So he has two wives? And is he even cheating on his wife by flirting? Every person he knows is essentially a Schrodinger’s Cat. They’re both alive and dead to him. Is he cheating on his wife, River, when he’s already seen her dead? He was also at her fucking birth after he was at her death.
It’s like OP doesn’t even get the paradoxical fuckery that is the Doctor’s timeline.
